Yoga has touched our lives and hearts and has become our lifestyle. We like to share our understanding of the ancient scriptures, the Vedas. The meaning of YogaSamvit is “Yoga of Wisdom” and our background is the vedic tradition of Yoga and Jnana.

Our Yoga School is based on the Gurukula system. A Gurukul (Guru refers to „teacher“ or „master“; Kul refers to his domain) is a type of ancient school in India that is residential in nature with the Shishyas or students and the guru or teacher living in proximity. The Gurukul is the place where the students resided together as equals, irrespective of their social standing.

Yoga is a complete system, of which the postures are a small, though quite useful part. The word "Yoga" referred to the whole, not merely one part, which is the postures, or Asanas.?The entire purpose of Yoga is to find my true nature, the Self, according to the ancient sages.

There are five principles of yoga for better understanding of how to integrate these concepts into our daily life:

Proper Exercise (Asanas)

Proper Breathing (Pranayama)

Proper Relaxation (Savasana)

Proper Diet (Vegetarien)

Self-Knowledge (Vedanta)  & Meditation (Dhyana)
